The Hospital

Tuesday 27 May 2014 - Local time 10.30am
Here are some photos of our "digs". Apparently there is a heatwave on the way and temperatures are expected to soar into the mid 40s. They have warned us not to go outside in the afternoon when the temperatures should reach their highest.
We told them there are several reasons why we are not worried in the slightest.
1. We are 3 tough men.
2. We come from Africa and know about heat.
3. We all have been in the Zambezi valley mid-summer.
4. .... most importantly.... we have aircon!

Krishna Shalby Hospital
The lounge suit in reception. Nice to sit by but being near the balcony
and the heat outside, you start sweating in the leather chairs quite quickly.

The reception desk, very professional looking.

The said balcony, walking outside onto this is like walking into an oven. It's quite an experience!
The hallway running past our room
Eric got a call this morning from the dentist to go get his dentures measured. He will be getting a complete new set for the price of a consultation back home, can you believe it? (Well if you are reading this in Zimbabwe, you will all be nodding right now.) He came back toothless and will be that way until Friday. By the end of the trip he should have a new pair of gnashers.

Allan just had a slight situation, he started shivering uncontrollably and we quickly got the nurses and doctors in. It does not seem to serious and he has relaxed back in his bed and even become slightly chirpy again. So nothing to worry about.
